There are five room rates available (all USD):
North Wing $84/night

Deadline to book is October 6, 2022 (contact Josh or Kieran after this date)
Commuter fee: All players not staying at the hotel as part of the Scrabble room block pay an additional $25 US per player ($40 CDN).
Cancellations: No cancellation penalty until 3 days before your scheduled arrival day. Within that 3 day period, if the guest cancels, they will be charged for 1 night (the deposit taken at the time of booking). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Josh and Kieran.
Hotel Amenities
Tournament room will be in the “Premier” building, we suggest you stay there, but all buildings are close to game room
Breakfast buffet for Scrabble players: $18 (includes tax/tip). Available Friday, Saturday & Sunday. 7:30AM-11AM
Saturday night there will be a bar available outside playing room 8:30PM-12AM, during trivia and karaoke.
Parking is no cost for players

All rooms have mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave

COVID-19 Information
Anyone at this tournament must be fully vaccinated and provide proof in advance to complete registration
NEW: Masks are now optional for players in the playing room, common areas, and social events
Due to the nature of in person Scrabble play, 6 feet of distancing is not possible. Players sit 4 to a table.
Due to the changing nature of the pandemic, players should plan for last minute changes, including cancellation
Tournament Information
Swiss/Performance pairings. Division size are set at 26, smaller divisions may be merged. See cross-tables.com for current division sizes.
We request that players continue to pay in advance as it makes it easier for us to run this large tournament
In addition to place prizes, performance-based prizes will be given in all divisions
NEW: Prizes paid in $USD. Prize payouts over $100 USD will be paid electronically or by check
Directors may alter tournament structure in best interest of the event, including spread Gibsonization

11:30 AM - 3:15 PM Early Bird 1 Rounds 1-4, followed by time to check-in / break
3:45 PM - 6:45 PM Early Bird 1 Rounds 5-7
8:00 PM - 12:00 AM Board game night. Bring a game or show up and play with others

11:30 AM - 4:30 PM Early Bird 2 Rounds 1-5
